Pascal Fauvet has a very young passion for photography and then specializes in architecture and design. His series of photos are a great success, exhibiting in art galleries in Paris and Brussels. For some of them, his artistic look associated with his sensitivity to design offers an original aesthetic, as for example on the series “caricature image”.
Since the early 90s, he lives in Provence, in the Var hinterland. He set up his workshop in the village’s old oil mill. As a jack-of-all-trades, every technique, every material is a pretext for creation: photography, video, without forgetting sculpture and design.
Whether photographic or sculptural, Pascal proposes his works that modify the perception of our environment. “Everyday blinds us, contemplation is a way to awaken our consciousness,” he assumes.
Behind every work, he wants to stimulate our consciousness. The aesthetics of his works is based on a precise balance of nuances and spaces and on a dynamism that corresponds to the living and engaged personality of the artist.
“Like life, the act of creation is violent, the more I enjoy it the more it escapes. “
